转身搂膝拗步 01:

维持左肩关节位置不变,提
起左臂使左肘关节与右肘关
节同高。同时也左肘关节为
中心,旋转提起左前臂并略
旋左腕,置左手于右手左侧
前方,使双手掌相对呈抱球
状。

此一过程中,维持身体其他
部位静止。
转身搂膝拗步 02:

以左胯关节与左足跟的连线为
轴,放松右胯关节,维持右腿直
挺及右胯位置稳定不变,将身子
包括左膝与左足同步向右转动,
直到双足与双膝相对,左足尖指
向西南方为止。
保持右胯关节与右腿稳定为先决
条件,初学者的转动角度可以稍
许少些。以后逐渐增加。
上身由向东南前倾转为正直面向
西南。
转身搂膝拗步 03:

以右胯为中心,以右足跟与右胯
连线为半径,作顺时针旋转直到
双足呈平行状态。右手顺势略为
下移,左、右前臂也同时顺势作
稍许旋转。

注意在移动右腿时不要移动重
心,及转动上身,维持中心的稳
定。
转身搂膝拗步 04:
以左腿由曲转直为推动力,前移
重心,相应地,右腿由直转曲,
并稍微提起右足尖,以足跟为中
心将右足尖转向西北角。上身由
中正转为前倾的偏正状态。右膝
盖不得超过右足尖。重力主要着
力于足跟.
以左前臂为轴旋转使左手掌斜面
向,置于鼻尖前方。右手维持关
节与肘关节的基本稳定,以右肘
为中心,将手掌以弧线下移直至
右臂基本伸直,置于档前。手掌
面向北方。
转身搂膝拗步 05:

以左胯与左足跟连线为轴,放
松右胯。全身右转直到面向西
北方。双足也平行指向西北
方。
在转体时,右手、臂与上身位
置相对不变,由身体的旋转,
将右手、臂带到右膝的侧边。
此时全身状态当与以前所述的
右搂膝拗步终止状态完全相
同。

Brush knee and step up with turning body 01

Keep the position of the left shoulder joint unchanged,
raise the left arm till the left elbow is in the same height as
the right elbow. At the same time with the left elbow as
center, rotate the forearm and turn the left wrist slightly.
Place the left hand on the left side in front of the right
hand making both hands facing each other like holding a
ball.

During this process, keep the rest of the body still.

Use the connecting line of the left hip and the left hell as
axis and   relax the right hip joint. Keep the right leg straight
and the right hip stably unchanged. Turn the body along
with the left knee and left leg to the right till both feet and
knees are against each other with the left toes pointing
southwest.
The primary requirement is maintaining the right hip joint
and right leg stable. The angle of rotation can be smaller for
beginning learners and it should be increased gradually in
the later stage.
The torso from leaning forwarding to the southeast is turned
upright to face southwest.

With the right hip as center and the connecting line of
right hell and right hip as radius, turn clockwise till both
feet are parallel. Move the right hand downward a little
bit along the way. The left and right forearms are
making a small rotation at the same time.

Pay attention that do not shift the weight center while
moving the right leg. And keep the weight center stable
when turning the upper body.

Stretch the left leg and as pushing power shift the weight
center. Simultaneously, bend the right leg and raise the
right toes. With right hell as center, turn the right toes to the
face northwest corner. Turn the torso from upright to lean
forward. The right knee must not extend over the right toes.
The center weight is mainly fallen on the heel.
With the left forearm as axis, turn the left palm to an
inclined plane and place it in front of the nose tip. Keep the
joints of the right hand and elbow stable. With the right
elbow as center, move down the right palm in a curving
direction till the right arm is basically straighten. Place the
palm in front of the crotch to face north.

With the connecting line of left hip and left hell as axis,
relax the right hip. Turn the whole body to the right till it
faces northwest and both feet are pointing to northwest as
well.
While turning the body, the position of the right hand, arm
and upper body are relatively unchanged. By turning of
the body, bring the right arm next to the right knee. At this
final stage, the status of the whole body is the same as the
previously mentioned Brushing the Right Knee and
Stepping Forward.
