Turn body to hold a ball

This is a transitional posture. Because it
is an important moment to adjust the
body to facilitate the following posture,
Brushing The Knee And Stepping Up, I
felt it could be treated as an
independent posture.
Turn body to hold a ball 02

Keep the body in the same height. Move the right hip joint back
slightly and shift the center of gravity toward the straight line of
D-K of the right leg and with the body weight falling on the ankle
and the outer edge of the right foot. The upper body remains
upright.
At the same time, raise the left ankle slightly with the foot toes
touching the ground. The positions of arms and hands as well
as the upper body are relatively unchanged.
Turn body to hold a ball 03
Lower the buttocks, convex the lower back and open the hips. Stretch
out the left leg forward with the ankle touching the ground.

At this moment, check the status of the whole body over. The
shoulders are dropped, the torso is relaxed, the collar bones is lifted,
the head is suspended, the hips joints are drawing backward and the
space between the arms and the back is in a state of insubstantially
expanding. Breathe deeply in the abdominal area and prepare to enter
into the next posture of Brushing The Knee And Stepping Up.
Turn body to hold a ball 01
To support and share the body weight equally between the right foot toes and the left foot ankle. The center
of gravity is falling between two legs. With the power of the waist and the legs as well as taking the spine as
the center, rotate the whole body toward east. When making the turn, try not to move or sway the spine.
Keep the body upright and the joints of the hips and knees stable. Also maintain the hip joints at the same
height.
While turning the body, keep the height of the right elbow unchanged and move the right palm from facing
front to facing left. Rotate the right wrist leading the fingertips to point east. Drop down the left elbow slightly
and turn the left palm from facing front to facing right. It is like holding a ball between two hands.
At this time, raise the left toes and the right ankle slightly off the ground. The center of gravity is still stably
located in between the two legs.
