    Beatting the tiger while retreat

This is the
finishing
posture of
The First
Raising
Foot Kick.

Beatting the tiger while retreat 01
Rotate both hips turning the upper body from
upright to slanting forward and to face east. With
the right hip as center, emphasis the sense on
the heel. Keep slight bending on the right leg as
in kicking and tread backward to the southeast.
Stretch out the right heel grounding it in the
northwest side. Both feet are perpendicular to
each other with the right toes pointing to the left
heel.
The positions of both hands in related to the
torso remain unchanged and they are still
stretching out.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 02
Keep the left foot in the same position and straighten the left leg. And
correspondingly bend the right leg. Shift both hips backward toward northwest
and place the weight center in between two legs. Hold the upper body slightly
straight and turn it from east to southeast in the state just between  up right and
slanting.
Keep the right arm in the same state. With the shoulder as center move it
downward along with the shift of the weight center. At the same time with the
forearm as axis, turn the palm from facing left to facing up.
Keep the left arm basically stretching out. Following the rotation of the body, with
the left shoulder as center, move the left arm from north to southeast along the
curve as shown by the yellow dots in the picture. Turn the palm from facing east
to facing down carrying the sense of coordinating with the right palm.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 02
Push the left toes against the ground. With the left leg as axis, rotate the left foot placing
the left heel along the straight line with the toe tips, knee and hip and to face southeast.
Follow through with the movement and continue to turn both hips backward to northwest.
Withdraw the right hip clearly so as to place the weight center steadily and completely on
top of the connecting line between the right hip and foot.
Turn the upper body into up right position. Keep the sense of pushing back with the right
shoulder and the right waist as one piece. The body is nearly facing south completely.
With the right shoulder as center, withdraw backward the right elbow closely along the
side of the body. The right forearm is slightly attached to the lower side of rib to the right.
Stretch out the left arm naturally. Following the turning of the body, move both palms
backward along a straight line closed to the torso. Both arms have the sense of pulling a
substance together along the side of the body.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 04
Keep the right knee and hip stable. With the right hip as center, rotate the upper
body and steadily shift backward the left hip. Turn the upper body from up right to
the state of slanting forward and to face southeast.
With mind on the left heel, move the left leg backward along a curve path. Stretch
out and place it behind the right leg placing the left toe tips along the extended
line of the right foot. The left foot and the right foot form an angle of around 120
degree.
The position of both arms in related to the body is basically unchanged. With the
left arm as axis, turn the left palm from facing down to facing up.
With the right forearm as axis, turn the right palm from facing up from facing down.
Rotate the right wrist to the right at the same time placing both palms on the same
straight line.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 05
Push the ground with the right toe tips and with the right leg as axis rotate the right foot
leading the right heel falling into a straight line along with the toe tips, knee and hip
facing south east. Following the movement, shift both hips backward toward northwest.
Bend the left leg. Withdraw the left hip clearly and let the weight center falls completely
and stably on the connecting line between the left hip and the foot.
Turn the body into upright position. The whole area from the left shoulders to the waist
holds the sense of pushing backward. The torso is closed to east side. With the left
shoulder as center, withdraw the left elbow closely to the body leading the left forearm
slightly attached to the lower left side of the ribs. Rotate the right elbow and wrist
moving the right palm forward along the direction of the left forearm. Push out the right
palm in the upper front of the left palm till the right arm straightened naturally. Both
palms are located in the same straight line with the left forearm.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 06
Ground the right heel. With the right heel as center, turn the right
toe tips and knee to face northwest leading both toe tips
respectively faced both knees.
Under the condition that the weight center of the left side is
securely stable, with the left hip as center rotate the right hip
placing the connecting line between both hips to face the eastwest
direction.
Turn the torso to face north accordingly and bend the right leg in
due course. Keep the position of the left arm in related to the body
unchanged. With the right elbow as center, rotate the right forearm
moving the fingers of both hands to face each other in the middle
of the body.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 07
With the connecting line of the left hip and left heel as axis, turn the left foot and knee to
face northwest. And then push the ground with the right foot and straighten the right leg.
With the left hip as center, move the right hip horizontally along a curve path. At the
same time, turn the body from the upright position to slanting forward and to face
northwest.
During this whole process; starting from the rotation of the left hip, take the left shoulder
as center and raise the left arm up in front of the body while keeping it bending until the
left palm is located in front of the forehead.
At the same time, with the right shoulder as center, while keeping the right arm basically
bending raise the right arm up along a curve path to the front of the waist. Bending the
right wrist slightly toward the back of the palm leading the fingers slantingly pointed to the
left  hand on the top. Both palms carry the sense of pushing forward in the same plain.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 08
Keep the weight center stable. With the connecting line of the left hip
and heel as axis, turn the left toe tips and knee from facing northwest
to facing northeast. At the same time with the left hip as center, shift
the right hip backward along a curve path turning the torso from
slanting toward northwest to face northeast in an upright position.
Keep the left arm in the same position and follow the move of the
body. The upper right arm is basically not moving. Rotate the right
elbow turning the forearm to twist and extend downward. Place the
right palm, which is pressing down, in front of the crotch. Bend the
right leg slightly. The weight center is still stably falling on the
connecting line between the left hip and heel.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 08
Keep the state of the whole posture unchanged. With the left hip as center,
rotate the right hip backward making both hips in the south north direction.
Turn the torso from facing southeast to facing east.
Raise the heel of the insubstantial right leg up. With the toe tips that
touching the ground as center, rotate the heel turning the right foot to face
east as well.
Grasp both palms into fists. The mouth of the left fist is facing down while
the mouth of the right fist is naturally facing up. Inspect the whole body this
time to ensure all the requirements of the upright position are followed.
Beatting the tiger while retreat 08
Keep the whole body upright and stable. Maintain the right arm in the
same position. With the right elbow as center, raise the right forearm up
placing it horizontally in front of the chest. The mouths of both fists are
facing each other from the top and from the bottom.
With the right hip as center, raise the right thigh at the same time when
raising the hands. With the right knee as center, raise the right leg from
the left side. Rotate the ankle at the same time turning the inner side of
the foot to face up. Pay attention that the turnings of the joints of the hip,
knee and ankle are executed at the same time. In order to keep the hips
opened, the right knee has to move slightly toward the right and the left
foot should not bypass the left leg.
