This is the finishing posture of Stepping Forward and Punching.
It is difficult to describe the movement of the wrist based on the photo. It is
recommended to view the relative motion a few times in details through
the video(06) as listed in the Learning Center .
We try to describe the movement as follow.
Seal and Close 01
Keep the contact between the base of the right palm and the right wrist. Turn around
the left wrist along the direction of the left palm and grasp the fingers to form a fist.
With the left arm as axis, rotate the palm inward attaching the back of the palm with the
right wrist and turn until it is underneath the right arm. Carry on with the rotation of the
left wrist till the back of the palm forming a straight line with the arm. At this moment,
both wrists are attaching with each other while the arms are crossing. Then open the
right fist and stretch the fingers naturally. With both arms as axis, turn the palms
slightly to let them facing with the face.
During this whole process, only the arms, wrists and fingers are turning while the
position of the elbow is kept in a stable condition

Under the condition of keeping the hip joints highly
firm and stable, move back the weight center
continuously and open the crossing hands to both
sides. With the elbow joints as center, bring the
palm slightly inward till the weight center is falling
between the two legs.
While making the backward move, the essential
requirements on the parts of the body are the
same as the other backward movements.
Seal and Close 03
Keep both hands and arms stable and carry on
move the weight center back until it falls entirely
on the connecting line of D-K on the right side.
The requirements of opening the hips and
lowering the buttock while moving backward are
the same like movements as previously
Seal and Close 04
During the final stage of lowering the buttock and
filling the lower back, with both arms as axis turn
the palms from inward to outward.
Seal and Close 05
Move from the backward position to forward bow
step. Following the shifting of the weight center
forward, push both arms slightly forward as well.
Both arms and the back are having the sense of
fullness and are expanding.
