Single Swaying Lotus 01
With the connecting line of the left hip and heel as axis, turn
the left knee and toe tips from southeast to southwest. At the

the upper right side to the lower left side. The outer side of the

right in front of the body.

slap the foot with the hand. If the hand cannot reach the foot,

right .Let the right leg stretch out and ground with the heel
toward the west side.

down, place the right forearm right in front of the waist.
Following the curving direction of slapping, continue to raise the
left arm up toward the upper left side. Rotate the left forearm and
turn the left hand from slapping down with the backside to slanting
forward with the palm.
This is a transitional state. Reference can be made to the
movements of both hands under the procedures of Brushing The Knee.
Single Swaying Lotus 05
The finishing posture of Single Branch Of Lotus Swaying In The Wind
is the same as Brushing The Knee and Stepping Up. Therefore, one
can relate the moving procedures of Brushing The Knee from changing
the upright state of 04 to slanting bow-step of 05.
At the final moment, rotate the left toe tips leading both feet
parallel and pointing to the west.
