Step forward with punch 01
Keep the body upright. Under the condition that both hips and
the left knee are stable, with the right hip as center, place the
right foot softly and stably down. With sense on the foot heel,
grounding with the foot heel and point the toe tips up as much
With the left shoulder as center, move the left elbow down to
the outside of the chest on the right. Following the move, place
the left forearm next to the face with the palm still facing east.
Step forward with punch 02
Stretch the left leg and extend the right leg. Coordinately the
shift of the weight center forward till both legs sharing equal
Like all moving forward movements, the upper body is turning
from upright to slanting forward. Following the forward
movement of the upper body, rotate the shoulder and elbow
joints, keeping the right palm basically at its original position.
Following the forward slanting of the torso, the left arm is
basically moving forward. By slightly rotating the shoulder and
elbow joints, push the left palm forward toward the right hand
Step forward with punch 03
Continue to move the weight center forward till the bow step is
completed. Following the completion of slanting the body
forward and slight rotation of the shoulder and elbow, push
the left palm toward the right wrist.
The fingers are turning from pointing up to pointing south.
The palm still holds the sense of pushing outward. The arch
between the thumb and the second finger is slightly opened
placing the thumb softly on top of the right wrist. This time,
the whole body is in slanting forward position.
Step forward with punch 04
Following all the essential requirements of stepping
forward from the bow step, turn the slanting torso
to upright. Move the left leg forward and grounding
the toe tips next to the right foot.
Both hands are basically not moving. Grasp the
right palm upward into fist. Turn slightly both
shoulder and elbow joints. Following the upright
movement of the torso, place both hands in front of
the right waist.
Step forward with punch 05
Keep the whole body stable. Rotate the left hip
and move the left leg slightly forward and ground
with the foot heel. Point the toe tips up and stretch
the leg out. The whole body is upright and is in a

Following all the essentially requirements
of changing from sitting back to bow step,
move the whole body from upright position
to slanting forward position. Turn to the
right with the waist. Following the turning,
rotate slightly both shoulder and elbow
joints and move both hands from the right
side forward toward east.
Step forward with punch 07 08 09 (from left)
Keep the state of the entire body unchanged. Turn the waist
back to face east and move both hands forward toward the front.
Rotate both hands at the same time. Point the fingers slantingly
upward with the fingertips facing against the nose. Place the
right fist slightly on top of the left waist.
The following procedures and movement descriptions are
exactly the same as 019 Stepping Up And Punching (5)(6)(7)
and therefore will not repeat here.
